I spent time with Willow, did some things around the house, we served at the adult center, we've been helped Kara, a non-member, get her move taken care of. There were six missionaries and Dan and I there. It was such a blessing for her. At night we are in charge of come follow me on the video chat. Also, Joseph called and we talked for a while. He showed us his new house.we then spent 2 hours at Carol's helping with her TV. DAN had such patience

I made many calls for visits. Only Lodema and brianna responded. We ended up getting dinner at Panda and taking it over to Roy and Willis house. We had dinner and then watched the Wilfred show and then had some discussion. They agree to start meeting with us to read scriptures and discuss. Rice said that he will keep an open mind

• I began the day with a devotional with willo. We both went to a baptism for the young missionaries. His name is Taylor. Later we went to visit Gary Weaver then cherish then we went over to willo and roys for dinner and a devotional including a video about the wrong Temple. At night I added up the mileage for our mission. It's over 12,000 miles since January then Dan Spent some time talking to Doug, Darla husband.

We picked up the two young Porter girls to take them to Church. Joshua decided to go to a different church today. It felt sad.

Later we went to Denise's and Chris baptism and then for Laurels baptism later. Hyatt night. I made dinner for Kelly and Tammy and Elders Schumann and Holloway. I ate too much

Church, porters came, after church Revisited with Kimberly Milner and showed the Book of Mormon video. We had Shanna and Hannah and the baby Evelyn come hooking up at night and gave them a lesson about member missionaries

Now that McKinley and Ireland have joined the ranks of our grandchildren who have the ability to text and call I wanted to start a group text where we can share with each other. It can be happy or sad or requests for prayer.
I thought I'd share first: Yesterday I heard about a miracle.
The young missionaries taught the gospel to a grandmother named April and granddaughter named Haylee. Kenny is the grandfather but he had no interest in learning about the church. Haylee and April felt impressed that they needed to go ahead and get baptized. About a month after their baptism Kenny became very ill and began bleeding. They were not sure what was causing the bleeding and he was taken to the hospital twice. The second time the doctors were very concerned and he was taken to the Hospital in St Louis 2 hours away. Several members of the church visited Kenny here in Cape and we tried to support him and encourage him. Prior to leaving to St Louis Kenny was given a special priesthood healing blessing and in St. Louis when the doctors went into surgery to determine the source of the bleeding they said it had stopped. The doctors told Kenny it was a miracle. Kenny is coming to church on Sunday. He can see and feel and recognize the power The Presthood in the blessing he received. April and Haylee are so thankful.

Today we helped with reading at the elementary school then went to help with lunch at the senior center. After that we went to visit some people and take Cindy Carlson out for ice cream. At night we hosted a dinner with the Thompsons and Willa and Roy.

Dear Father in Heaven, I am thankful for the American flag, I am thankful for a car to drive and the health to drive it with, I'm thankful for feet and legs that work and for hands and arms, I am thankful that I could play my guitar and sing at a baptism today. I am thankful for the spirit of joy that was there. I am thankful to feel thankful.
In the afternoon I drove Cindy Carlson to Walmart to get a deposit

I thought I'd write down the testimony I shared in sacrament meeting today in my journal to remember how strong the sprit was. I also thought I'd share it with you:
I am so grateful for this life! I am so grateful for God's plan for us. He has such individual personal plans for each of us to learn what we need to while we're here. The good and the bad we all experience are such blessings to be able to progress the way we need to. He knows. Our family had a dear family friend pass away from a quickly spreading cancer a couples weeks ago. She's an author and her death led me to read some of what she's written. She said this:
"Yet how differently we may define ‘good gifts’ from the way He does. A child would define candy as a good gift. However, any parent knows that to give in to a dearly-loved child’s pleading for sweets instead of nutritious food every meal would compromise the child’s long-term health and well-being. How much more so does our loving Heavenly Father give priority to our long-term interests. He mercifully withholds blessings that might taste sweet to us at the moment but would erode our spiritual health in the long run. He gives us gifts with the most eternal dividends, even when they may seem anything but “good gifts” to us at the moment. The Lord cares less for our present comfort and more for our ultimate growth and education. He cares less for our momentary ease and happiness and more for our eternal joy."
He loves us so very much and wants what's best for us eternally. I love that my Mom said, "It's ok! She's ok! She's graduated! I'm so proud of her. She's now onto get a higher education." We are all just babies and children here on Earth. Here to learn as we need to and as He knows we need to in order to recieve a higher education. How much more does "I am a child of God" mean to me in this context. I know this to be true.

I visited with Willa then Our neighbors Kenny and Janice went with us to the breakfast at the park with the ward this morning. I think we all had a good time. At night we went do the porters for steak fry and brought some of the food

Visiited Willo. Thedr. Said she may get married on the hospital. Joshua was discharged so we took him to Sr. Citizen with us!! We also almost did deliveries. We went to the adult learning open house.

We had an interview with President fail and afterwards talked with Roy about the possible wedding. Helped at the House of Hope adult learning center. Dan helped Bro. McNew. Visited Coby
We have to Wellness Group at our house. Afterwards I was driving Cindy back home when I got hit with a fender bender on the right side. We called the police. The three men in the other car are saying that it was my fault!!

Today I went to help willo and was so thankful that later they could finally get their marriage license, we helped at The Adult Learning Center, Joshua needed help moving things to his new apartment, we helped with come follow me then we drove the route when I was in my accident and it was so hard to remember what to say on the video and how to do it and the right timing. I'm exhausted

I worked on wedding thinks most of the day. We took Joshua to the barbecue at langdon's. DJ came to after I sent him a message
Today is the big wedding cake for Willa. Iris busy finishing the red velvet cake and getting things over to the hospital and visiting Willa in the morning and praying a lot.
I worked with Janice on wedding things. Dan got the giant sandwich from Walmart and I went to the hospital with Janice to bring everything up at 2. The Wedding rice at 6. Our friend at in the word judge Thompson performed it. If it's magical! Since so many at the hospital had helped transform a board meeting room into a fairyland waiting room and because God had helped so many other miracles to happen
