I am thankful for a new day and for a good nights sleep! My toe is getting better
Fb This morning I have joy in my heart instead of feeling anxious or discouraged. It's amazing what prayer, a bug zapper, starting to CTR instead of CTW and a good nights sleep will do for my outlook! Thanks Father.
We helped children to read, we helped serve lunch at the senior citizen Center and cleaned coolers afterwards. We went out on a referral (the young missionaries were sent the same referral?!)
We them visited the Englehart. Both converts, both strong.

This morning we worked on taxes then worked on the progress with members and all the people we've met. Had trouble with the computer. Went to a district meeting., were interviewed by President Bateman and taught Institute at night

From COME FOLLOW ME
Sometimes people feel guilty when they are tempted to sin. But even the Savior, who lived “without sin” (Hebrews 4:15), was tempted. It can be comforting to know that because Christ also faced and overcame temptations, He knows the temptations we face and can help us overcome them (see Hebrews 2:18; Alma 7:11–12)
I love this:
Luke 4:18...he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,...
My new hearing aid is working well so far!!! Thanks Father.
Today we went to our 2nd Finneran here, we were able to meet Bro. Mouser before he passed away. We then helped the Langdon with their t. V. Then went to porters and to give the first discussion.

This little toe went to market, this little toe got broke.
Once upon a time there was a toe who lived in the ring position on the left foot of a girl named Patricia. Ring toe was happy to live on Patricia's foot with her other toe siblings.
One morning, however, Patricia interrupted their happiness when she accidently kicked ringie into the door of the study on her way out. "Ouch" screamed Ringy as she heard herself crack right in the middle. Patricia held her breath and crumpled to the floor in pain then she limped to a chair to examine her poor toe.
It was easy to see that ringie was broken so Patricia gently wrapped first aid tape along with tall man toe. "You see, she explained to the toe siblings," sometimes when we are broken we need someone strong to stand beside us and help give us strength and support.
And so it came to pass that Tall man and ring man were bound together while ring toe healed.
And so it is with each one of us that when we are broken we can bind ourselves next to someone who is strong as we heal. They can give us strength and support along our way.

Today we have two children read at Franklin Elementary meant we have to senior citizen center. While I was waiting for people to bring their trays the thought that came to my mind was I should go into the cafeteria and bring trays for other people. It was a blessing for me and for them. Many of them have trouble walking I'm getting around. I got to talk to a lady that has done a lot of family history and said she had come by the church to come to our genealogy Center.
After my rest we visited sister Robinson then I took Willa and Geneva to R. S. With me. They had a great time and agreed to see the family history cemter tomorrow!!

District meeting
A mission is our mtc for life
The Book of Mormon is sycle of our work
Boldly invite and ask, "will you?"
Dan said that as a companion I show love
If you surround yourself with 5 closest friends you become like them
If you surround yourself with Jesus Christ you become like him

Stranded on an Island 6
I was very impressed when brother chai brought two of his friends to church. When I mention this to him he said "Imagine I was stranded on an island in the sea and had no way to be rescued. Then one day I saw a ship coming on one side of the island I would want to tell all the people around about it. They would also want to come and meet that ship to be rescued!
I feel the same way about the gospel. It rescues me and I want others to know they can be rescued also!"

HOLDING HANDS
During district meeting we had a special moment. When the lessons was about getting along with your companion, they asked us to share what we appreciate about our companions so I shared that Dan is a second mile person he does things in a through away and whether it's working with a family or making sure that we're prepared before we go.
When it was his turn he talked about that I have an ability to love other people and how much he appreciated that and how much that meant on our mission.
We looked at each other and held hands and it was funny because the other missionaries kind of just looked at us and I said "Hey guys, we can hold hands!" And there was a chuckle because the others are still young missionaries and can't do that.
//////////
After that Dan took me by surprise to Walmart and bought me lunch and then he bought me some flowers for Valentine's Day and we looked at cards then handed them to each other read them and put them back. (That is our tradition) . Was very nice.
We were going to go to the family history center with Willa and Geneva but Roy got sick and they all went to the hospital with him.
Tonight we went to Porters brought the ham for the dinner. We then had a discussion about the Plan of Salvation that included a couple of short videos. Once again it went well. Lizzy, seemed to especially enjoy it and we were grateful. They said they would come to church Sunday.
Dan and I had a chance to talk about our schedule next because it's gotten pretty crowded and we have a hard time fitting other last minute people in so we worked on it and I felt better.
This afternoon we met with Brother chili and began studying the 12 Steps of AA
At night we went with Jason and Lucy Brooks at a great Chinese buffet. Yummy. Great sharing
There once was a cousin named Cruso
as kind as he could be
He talked to his cuz and he sent texts too
cause he could plainly see
that his words and his actions played
songs on her heart
they were part of their family tree
Cruso was glad that he gave of his time
to his cousin, his loyalty
