Today I visited with sister Carol and had lunch with her. She is not a member right now. She let me know that she had no interest in our church. Later free text soup to an investigator who has a bad sinus infection. She said she would get back with us in a while. These things can be discouraging. I also match waitress to said she was looking for a church but when I called and left a message we haven't heard anything back. I guess that's just part of what makes up a mission. I enjoyed a videochat with Maddie. Dan also isn't feeling so good today are you going to bed early. Darla told me extent of her cancer. π

Dan is still not feeling well. We cancel one appointment this morning and I then went to go visit at the Care Center. She said she would like to go to church tomorrow. We shall see
Dan slept a lot, I worked on newsletters and then we went walking. I went home to do finances. After that Dan and I worked on some of our paperwork and our plans for Ministry ink 2 my investigators . Darla is so tired and sick that I didn't hear much from her on texts.
12
Happy Mother's Day. The girls went together and gave me a beautiful wreath for our door, a doormat and a box full of amazingly fun pink surprises. It was so overwhelmingly sweet and kind. Tears were running rolling down my cheeks. I also received some sweet happy Mother's Day messages for from people here and back in Midvale. As well as from the family.
Dan set out breakfast and did the dishes.
It was so fun because they had four packages sent at different times. Dan gave me a beautiful purse. We went to church and at night sister Baird invited us over for dinner.
At night Dan wasn't feeling very good so I went to the Bairds for dinner. My brought my homemade bread and they seem to like it. I meant Peggy Fisher. She's a friend and neighbor. The Bears. She was really a very nice and we enjoyed each other. She's recovering from surgery but plans to come to the support group next week

We were able to visit with four families including the aldredges, Hyatts, the other Dennard family. I got to hold Macaw birds and watch a little five year old demonstrate karate. This mission holds many surprises and many times when our hearts are touched and the goodness of people

Joshua came to church with us. He said he really enjoyed it. We took sister Neely home afterwards.
I am so thankful that your ward is responding and helping. What a blessing. So, I have a story to tell you. We were supposed to go to this city about a half an hour away and meet with a lady named Amy Hawkins. I was texting her and she kept saying "I'm so glad you all are here" you have to go in the store and then the third door.
Next she said "I'm in the shower that you can come on in" (we scouted around in the vacant store) and then she said oh I'm actually at big Eds right now.
You can see me there so big Eds turned out to be a beer joint. We walked in and asked for Emmie and they all just shook their heads and asked us to sit down take a drink. Hahaha. We could not find this Elusive Lady.
On the way here we got hit on the freeway!!!! The miracle was that no one was injured. The crazy thing is that we didn't call the police. The back of the car near the tire does not looking great. What a day!!
At night we went to here president Baird speak at the baccalaureate address. He spoke of Lehis dream and truths. We visited with Trisha for our weekly call

It felt great to be able to wake up this morning and not be tired. I went to Walmart to get a living oil then over to Willa to visit and to Sobe and take a fan, next to Sister Whitworth and meet her neighbor Lou Anna, next we take that Joshua and had a discussion with him. He accepted Dance Challenge to be baptized. After that we text Brother McNew to the library and Meet Two Sisters there who are not yet members and got to know them Robyn and Cheryl.
I had a chance to talk with Cindy, a sister who recently moved here and Dan talked with Doug pretty late in the night.
23
We had Jonathan over this morning to go over a discussion. I went to Cindy Carlson's to help her with unpacking. Dan went for a walk.
In the afternoon we delivered soup and bread to Peggy. Peggy gave us a fan for Cindy! Big Miracle! We were then able to visit brother McNew and buy one of his paintings then able to take the fan to Cindy
Later at night the young missionaries came by. Met the new One, Elder Jones, we talked a little and I made cookies.

Bill at 8 he even made us Strawberry Shortcake. We then try to visit sister Hemphill. It turned out to be a wild goose chase because that wasn't the right address. We rushed back with a 45-minute drive to a Senior Citizen Center to meet Rosemary for lunch. We had an enjoyable lunch. By the time I got home and took a rest my head and then my neck started having very serious pain. I could hardly move my neck. With the exception of our visit with Joshua I went to bed the rest of the day. Dan went to the graduation ceremony at night
Fb. Dear father, I am thankful for white board messages from Dan, for how much better I feel now than I felt earlier today, and for the chance to just rest tonight. I am thankful for inspiring songs, for warm baths, encouraging friends, for loving families members. For Marco Polo, for Facebook updates and for my testimony of my savior and brother Jesus and for the hope and comfort he brings

SHOW ME THE WAY
We stopped at Walmart to get a few things before our big day activities today. I couldn't find the insect repellent so when I saw for Walmart workers in the freezer Department I rushed over and blurted "Can someone tell me where the insect repellent is?" One employee said "over there" another pointed another Direction.
Finally a man who looked a lot like our friend, Rich Hutchison, came to my side and said "let's see if we can find it."
He soon got me to the right aisle and I got my insect repellent. I thought, it is so much better when a person leads instead of just pointing!! ///
25
Went to church but home most of the rest of the day with head problems π’π£ I am also watching my eating ore. I need to loose weight
26
Pain
27
We went to the ward lunch and took Joshua with us. He seemed to enjoy it. I was heading more trouble with my neck. We went on a drive to visit with Mike Jessica and his wife. He races race cars and has a trucking company and is quite an innovative. He has his home inside of a large garage. While they build iHome. 136 Acres. He has met the missionaries before and now I'm many members and was willing to let us give the first discussion. Not sure if we'll be invited back for a second but we shall see
28
We went to get our rental car then to a place near st. Louis for a zone Conference then home to get me to instacare I have muscle spasms in my neck and the arthritis is worse in my neck. It involves four five and six "trains". We can hurry to our support group here with there were two participants but we had a very good group.
I went to get my prescription then call Darla and found out that they told her she is at stage 4 cancer and would only have about 6 months to live. She would continue to have severe nausea. I am so sad.
29
